Frontvale Investment Management is the private credit arm of Frontvale. We principally provide asset-backed financing secured against real estate and maritime assets.
We lend against assets we understand, principally real estate, vessels and yards. Knowing the asset lets us assess risk directly, structure around the business plan and commit quickly. Where there is no single asset to lend against, we can also back established businesses on the strength of their cash flows.
Mezzanine and preferred equity finance secured on real estate in Ireland, with a particular focus on residential schemes, including social and affordable homes delivered to local authorities. Working closely with Everlet Capital, we have part-funded over 500 units in Ireland since 2020.
Secured loans for vessel acquisition, construction and completion, and for shipyards and maritime operators. We assess vessels, yards and counterparties directly, which lets us lend where traditional ship lenders are slow, constrained or absent.
Where there is no material underlying asset, we can still finance established businesses with a strong record of cash generation and an experienced management team. Facilities are structured around the business's cash flows, sized to what it can comfortably service.
We lend primarily from our own capital, so our credit decisions don't depend on syndication or third-party approval. Borrowers deal directly with the people who make the decision, from first conversation to drawdown.
We structure each facility around the asset and the business plan rather than a fixed product, and we take security over the underlying asset wherever there is one.

With over 20 years in industry, working in companies from start-up through to PLC, Niall understands the need for quick decisions when it comes to financing.
Rory advises on our real estate lending, which we carry out in partnership with Everlet Capital, the firm he founded and runs as managing partner. He has more than a decade of experience in alternative development finance in Ireland, and is a qualified solicitor and former licensed property services provider.
